Working with the physical body.
Thai Yoga Massage
Bodywork/Thai yoga massage offers a thorough toe to head treatment
that works with pressure points, massage and soft opening movements of the joints.
It is practiced on a thin mattress and blankets on the ground with you lying down fully clothed
and the massage therapist working with your body while you can just relax and enjoy.
The massage is intended to work with and adjust imbalances and tension of the body so that you can feel relaxed and through that enjoy a deep relaxation of the mind as well.
The full massage sequence works with the whole body:
feet, toes, legs, hips, back, stomach, arms, hands, fingers, shoulders, neck, head and face.
Abdominal Massage
Based on several Asian traditions (Ampuku from Japan, Bokbu from Corea, Chi Nei Tsang from Thailand) this massage is a fabulous tool to refresh all the abdominal organs and promote general health.
Extremely relaxing and very efficient, it allows a deep connection with our “second brain” located in the belly.
This massage can be offered on itself or as part of other styles of massage. It is a powerful tool, very much needed to reduce stress, improve digestion and open to the awareness of our own essence.

Working -through- the physical body to release trauma.
Somatic bodywork -
connecting the physical body and the energetic/emotional body and nervous system.
Because the physical body and nervous system both store and accumulate stress and trauma,
we need to work somaticly to help heal and find balance from BOTH sides.
Working with somatic trauma release.
If you're up for going deeper into how and what our body stores and how our nervous system
is interconnected with our physical body this is for you.
Trauma isn't all in your head, it's also in your heart, your body, your nervous system, your stomach, your restless legs, your migrene, your racing heart, your anxiety attacks, your trembling voice, your short or heavy breathing ...
It wasn't only your mind that went through your trauma, it was your whole body and the body remembers even if we work on the mind (through therapy and coaching)
Somatic bodywork can be a great addition to your personal work on releasing trauma. Especially if you're already seeing a therapist and/or do any other self care practices alone at home or in groups/classes.
How it works:
There will be an initial conversation about: if you are physically and/or emotionally/energetically aware of what issue/trauma you want to work with/on/release and where it is (mostly) in your body.
Then we will create a safe space for a session to go into these areas through Bodywork/Thai Yoga Massage techniques, Breathing/Breathwork, and verbal guidance.
